OptiStat is simply used to allocate two different
comfort temperature levels: one at a low level to prevent dampness - ( setback temperature), and another to maintain your home at a comfortable temperature.
OptiStat needs no external power source. It runs off its own internal batteries. Battery life, 1 year approx.
OptiStat can be set to give a five-minute delay on boiler fire-up for additional fuel savings.
OptiStat temperature range is adjustable between 5 degree C and 30 degree C.
